MVS course in Bamu University Aurangabad

CET for first ever MVS course on June 23

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has geared up to launch the ambitious five-year integrated course 'Master of Vocational Science (MVS)' from new academic year. The common entrance test for admission to MVS will be held on June 23 from 11 am to 1 pm. It may be noted here that MVS is the first-ever course of its kind across the State. If a student completes three-year duration, he will be given Bachelor of Vocational Science degree and on completion of five- year course, he will get MVS. The student can leave the five-year integrated course and can join it any time. The eligibility for applying the course is HSC.

The students can down load format from the university website and submit along with it a demand draft of fee and necessary attested testimonials at NAAC office in the administrative building till June 10. The general and reserved categories candidates will have to pay Rs 200 and Rs 150 respectively as fee for the entrance examination. Admission will be given on the basis of the result of the test, syllabus of which comprises general knowledge, English, reasoning, local reasoning, general aptitude and data interpretation.

The students will have to solve 100 multiple choice questions in two hours and there will be no negative marking and each correct answer will be of one mark. The details of the list with the seat numbers of the eligible candidates and centre of the test will be made available on the UNIVERSITY website from June 15 onwards. The CET result will be declared on June 29.
